The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) is a customer friendly facility located 45 minutes west of Toronto in the heart of Canada's Technology Triangle. The airport is centrally located alongside Highway 401 in the Township of Woolwich and bordered by the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.
Presently American Airlines / American Eagle provides daily non-stop jet service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport with connections to over 250 cities in over 40 countries worldwide.
Sunwing will provide weekly Tuesday service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for the duration of the winter season from December 26, 2012 to April 16, 2013.
Passenger amenities include FREE wireless high-speed internet, ATM, a licensed sit down café (valid boarding pass required), charging stations, complimentary luggage carts and well-lit outdoor parking adjacent to the terminal.
American Airlines American Eagle recommends that passengers check-in two hours before scheduled departure time.
Bearskin Airlines passengers should arrive 45 minutes before scheduled departure time.
WestJet recommends that passengers check-in two hours before scheduled departure time.
Due to the volume of travellers, passengers flying to Punta Cana with SunWing Vacations should arrive three hours before scheduled departure in order to allow sufficient time for check-in and security screening.
