The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) is a full service, customer friendly facility classified as an Airport of Entry (AOE) by Canada Border Services. The airport is located 45 minutes west of Toronto alongside highway 401 in the Township of Woolwich and bordered by the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo, Ontario.
Presently American Airlines provides daily non-stop jet service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport with connections to over 250 cities in over 40 countries worldwide.
Sunwing will return with weekly service between Waterloo Region and Cancun, Mexico effective December 23, 2013.
Passenger amenities include FREE wireless high-speed internet, ATM, a licensed sit down café (valid boarding pass required), charging stations, complimentary luggage carts and well-lit outdoor parking adjacent to the terminal.
The Region of Waterloo International Airport is an accessible facility. However, it is important to notify your air carrier or travel agent when requesting special assistance with your flight reservation. The airport is also the base for a number of Aviation related businesses including: corporate aircraft charter, refueling, air cargo, helicopter and aircraft flight training, avionics, customs clearance and hangar space.
