  3. What type of identification do I need to fly?
    Passengers flying to the US or internationally must possess a valid passport.

    Passengers flying within Canada can present:
    One piece of government-issued photo identification (such as a driver's license) or two pieces of government-issued non-photo identification (such as a birth certificate and social insurance card).  

    Passengers flying between Canada and the United States are required to present a valid passport.  For more information on accepted travel document visit the Canada Border Services Agency website.
  4. How early do I need to arrive before my flight?

    American Airlines American Eagle
     recommends that passengers check-in two hours before scheduled departure time.

    Bearskin Airlines passengers should arrive 45 minutes before scheduled departure time.

    Due to the volume of travellers, passengers flying with Sunwing Vacations should arrive three hours before scheduled departure in order to allow sufficient time for check-in and security screening.

    WestJet recommends that passengers check-in two hours before scheduled departure time.

  7. What kind of items am I allowed to carry on board or pack in my luggage?

  8. I want to drop off/pick up a passenger. Where can I stop my vehicle?
    The Airport's layout allows vehicles to pull up in front of the Main Terminal Building to drop off/ pick up passengers. There is also metered parking available in front of the Main Terminal Building for vehicles wishing to park for short periods of time. Click here for more information on parking rates.
  9. Is there long-term parking at the Airport?

    The Airport offers long-term Pay N' Display parking at a rate of $42 per week. Click here for parking information and rates.
  10. I was issued a parking ticket. How can I pay it?
    Parking tickets can be paid at the Township of Woolwich Office or by mail. Payments made by mail should be sent to:

    Yes! The Airport offers free high-speed wireless Internet service throughout the Air Terminal Building. Visitors can connect using their own laptop or wireless device by enabling their wireless adapters and connecting to the "ROW Airport" Network.
  16. I lost an item at the Airport. Is there a lost and found?

  17. I had an item confiscated during security screening. How can I get it back?

    To make requests for the return of confiscated items please contact the Security Desk in the Main Airport Terminal Building or call 519-648-3370.

  19. I live near the airport and would like to file a noise complaint. Who can I contact?

    The Region of Waterloo International Airport requires that pilots follow noise abatement procedures in order help meet the needs of all who live and work in the area of the Airport. An Aeronautical Noise Management Committee (ANMC) meets quarterly to discuss noise concerns, work towards solutions and foster an amicable relationship between the Airport and the surrounding community.
